대구 가톨릭 대학교에서 학생들을 지도할 4분의 원어민 교수를 초빙합니다. 

초빙된 교수는 특별히 선발된 신입생, 재학생들과 함께 기숙사에서 숙식을 같이 하며

영어회화 및 작문, 독해 등 영어 전반에 걸친 강의를 할 수 있어야 하며 학생들과의

개인면담 등을 통한 개별학습도 해야 합니다. 기숙사에서 숙식을 해야 하는 관계로

독신이나 부양가족이 없이 단신 부임이 가능한 분으로 지원을 제한합니다.

 

지원 자격과 근무 조건 등은 아래와 같습니다.

* 지원자격

- 영어를 모국어로 하는 자

- 학사학위 이상 소지자

- TESOL 자격증 소지자 우대함

* 계약기간

- 2004년 3월 1일부터 1년간 (연장 가능함)

* 근무조건

- 주당 25시간 (10-20 class hours + 5-10 tutorial classes 혹은 특별활동)

- 월- 금

- 과목 : 영어회화 (Listening, Speaking), 독해, 작문, 개별학습

- class size : 10-25명

- 학기 : 16주

- 방학 중 6주간의 영어 캠프

- Office (2인 1실)

* 급여 및 복리 혜택

- 급여 학사소지자: 연봉 2800만원 + a

       석사소지자: 연봉 2860만원 + a

       박사소지자: 연봉 2920만원 + a

- 급여의 인상는 매년 직원들의 급여 인상 분에 준하도록 한다.

- 해외에서 지원할 경우 편도 항공료로 80만원 지급

- 국내에서 지원할 경우 Visa 발급 여행경비로 80만원 지급

- 2년 이상 근무한 경우 귀국 항공료 80만원 지급

*숙식

- 무료로 제공되는 기숙사 내 1인 1실 (가구 + 샤워)

- 함께 사용하는 부엌과 휴게실 그리고 세탁실

- 식사 : 기숙사의 규정에 따른 식사 제공

       (학기중 : 주중 : 아침 저녁, 주말: 아침, 점심, 저녁

        방학중 : 기숙사에서 식사가 제공되는 기간에 한해 식사 제공)

     College Positions open at Catholic University of Daegu, Korea.

Catholic University of Daegu is now recruiting Visiting Professors for

Globalization Program, a special English Program held in the dormitory.

Those professors will be teaching English Conversation, Reading and

Writing to university students in regular classes, tutorial classes or extracurricular. The students are living in the dormitory and the professors are required to live in the dormitory with students. 

Considering it, singles or those who don't have dependants are

encouraged to apply.

 

Qualifications and Benefits are as follows.

* Job title : Visiting Professor

* Qualification : Native Speaker of English

                Bachelor's degree or higher

                Those who have TESOL Certificate preferred

* Length of Contract

- 1 year (renewable) beginning March 1, 2004

 

* Duties

- 25 hours per week (10-20 classroom hours + 5-10 tutorial classes or extracurricular)

- Regular Staff meeting, work-related responsibilities including paperwork and

- Teaching subjects : English Conversation, Reading and Writing in Classroom hours, tutorial class and extracurricular.

- Class size : 20-25 ( You may ask to lead a class of all the students in the program sometimes).

- 16-week semester

- 6-week Summer and Winter English Camp

 

* Pay and Benefits

- For Bachelor's - 28,000,000(+a) Korean won per year

- For Master's - 28,600,000 (+a) Korean won per year

- For Ph.D's - 29,000,000(+a) Korean won per year

- Pay increases at the same rate of the school staff's raise

- Those who apply overseas will get the airfare reimbursement after employed - 800,000 Korean Won.

- Those who apply within Korea will get the visa sponsorship after employed- 800,000 Korean Won.

- Those who work more than 2 years for the school will get the return airfare - 800,000 Korean Won.

* Living accomodations and Board

- Free furnished room in the dormitory with an individual shower room

  (a bed, a desk and a chair,  a closet, an air-conditioner, two armchairs and a table, a TV set)

- Free board (following the dormitory regulation)

 (during the semester, breakfast and dinner are served on weekdays

                      breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on weekend

  during the vacation, the food will be served following the dormitory regulation)
